The topic is what really made me want to read this story. I have always been interested in going to Ireland some day and exploring the country side. The idea of there being fantastic myths about Celtic creatures peaks my interest further. I thought that the intro presented a good idea of what the story would be about. It included a dry humor that tells the reader what the tone of the story is going to be. Specifically that it will cover stories involving a Banshee, Bogle, Fairy Folk and a Leprechaun. It give a clear idea about the location of the myths and Folk Lore surrounding the Celtic creatures. The layout of the page really caught my eye. Especially the image used in this blog of a lush green forest. It gives the impression of a foreboding, mysterious world. The page is clean and does not distract from the story being told.. Perhaps the page itself could have been made more exciting to grab my attention more. I think that I will make a page that has a little more illustration and designs on it than with this story.

From the title, I knew that this was a story that I really wanted to read even before I read the intro. This is something that I have looked into before. I have been fascinated by the different creatures that live at the bottom of Mariana trench. As far as research into mythical sea monsters, I have very little knowledge about how those myths began. The introduction provides a good example of what the story will be like and whether or not it will be of interest to me. I was hooked when i read the title so there was little need for me to read in depth about the story. The design of the page is very attractive and gives a mysterious, spooky feel that makes me even more excited to read this story. I would like to use a page design for my project that matches the story as well as this one.

When i first saw the title, Greek Monsters, I knew that I want to read it. Its an interesting idea to look at the monsters from a different perspective. In this case, the intro was from the perspective of Zeus, which I thought was a very clever take on the Greek monsters mythology. the author did a good just introducing the story and providing enough information to peak my interest. The image used grabbed my attention very successfully, as well as the font and format of the page. I would like to use a page that looks similar to this one for my project. the page was easy to navigate and I enjoyed exploring it and discovering what the story would be about.
